Trip Itinerary

From your tour host

Originally from Russia, I moved to beautiful Kansas City in 1999. I always say that I have two homes. My second home is Kansas City. I feel lucky to be a Russian living in the heart of America and experience two great cultures.

From 2012 to 2018, I had a privilege to study poetry in the Gorky Literature Institute in the heart of Russia – Moscow. During these years, I traveled to Russia every spring and fall. This made me to relearn and appreciate more rich culture and history of my homeland. It inspired me in the way that I decided to start the Russian Cultural Association, a non-profit organization, and promote cultures of the Russian-speaking people of Missouri and Kansas.

My own story of coming to the heart of America from another country and making it my home, inspires me to connect people of different ethnic groups and promote the businesses and cultures of our diverse Midwestern community. It was my long-awaited dream to invite people from the US to travel to Russia and experience the amazing beauty and uniqueness of Moscow and St. Petersburg, two of the most distinguished cities in the world.
